Mode of Selection

Computer-Based Written Examination (CBT):

  1. Objective test covering General Knowledge, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, Road Safety, Traffic Rules, and Basic Vehicle Maintenance.
  2. Physical Endurance & Measurement Test (PE&MT):
    Includes running, long jump, high jump, and measurement of height & chest as per Delhi Police standards.
  3. Driving Skill Test:
    Practical assessment of driving skills on vehicles. Judged on vehicle control, safety standards, and traffic law awareness.
  4. Document Verification:
    Verification of originals and copies—educational certificates, valid LMV license, category certificates, ID, etc.
  5. Medical Examination:
    Assessment of physical and medical fitness. Includes eyesight check, disability screening, and health evaluation per police norms.
